Rebels 'aided by Nato' says spokesperson

Col Gaddafi's Information Minister has accused Nato of aiding rebels with weapons, funds and intelligence.

Speaking at a news conference in Tripoli, Moussa Ibrahim said the weapons being used were killing the Libyan people, and any blood shed by the rebels would be the "responsibility of the western world".

Explosions and sustained gunfire have been heard in parts of Tripoli, as rebels move closer to the Libyan capital.
