Egypt unrest: Police and protesters clash in Cairo

Violence flared in Cairo on Saturday morning as protesters and police clashed in Tahrir Square.

Demonstrators returned to the square last week to voice their anger at a lack of change in Egypt since the downfall of Hosni Mubarak, and have remained on the streets since.

Footage showed protesters throwing stones and various other missiles at police vehicles. A number of people were injured in the violence.
