Egypt elections: Presidential candidate HQ attacked

Protesters have attacked the campaign headquarters of the presidential candidate Ahmed Shafiq in the Dokki district of Cairo.

He was the last prime minister under Hosni Mubarak and his standing for president has infuriated critics who say he is too close to the former regime.

Hours earlier it was announced Ahmed Shafiq had won enough votes to compete in a run-off against Mohamed Mursi of the Muslim Brotherhood, as Tom Esslemont reports.
