Iran limits areas where Afghan immigrants can live

There are about two million Afghans currently living in Iran.

Iran's home office says that around two thirds of them are illegal immigrants - and the Iranian government has recently passed a law which limits the granting of residence permits only to those Afghan immigrants who reside in three out of the country's 31 provinces.
