'Hard choices' ahead in Mid-East talks

The US Secretary of State, John Kerry, has warned that Israel and the Palestinians will have to make difficult compromises if renewed peace efforts are to achieve any progress.

Israeli and Palestinian negotiators are preparing for their first talks in three years after months of shuttle diplomacy by Mr Kerry.
