Beirut violence flares over Syria crisis

Supporters and opponents of the Syrian regime have been involved in violent clashes in Beirut.

Officials say 10 people were injured and one killed in the violence, which involved machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades.

Lebanese troops were deployed after a number of casualties were reported in the predominantly Sunni Muslim area of the city.
