Gaza and Israel brace for 'day of anger'

Palestinian leaders have called for a "day of anger" on Friday to protest against the Israeli offensive in Gaza.

Overnight there were violent clashes between Israeli security forces and thousands of Palestinian protestors in the West Bank.

The death toll in Gaza's fighting has continued to rise, with over 800 Palestinians and 34 Israelis killed since 8 July.
