Will this general be Libya's new leader?

Benghazi was the birthplace of the Libyan revolution but for the past eight months it has seen intensive fighting with hundreds killed in clashes between forces loyal to rivals Libyan administrations.

The BBC has gained a rare interview with the man at the centre of that battle, General Khalifa Haftar. He backs the internationally recognised government in the East and the airstrikes conducted by his military have proved decisive.

BBC Arabic's Feras Kilani met him in his base in Eastern Libya.

The producer for this piece was Ben Allen, and the cameraman Adam Campbell.
