Turkey leaves Syria after Suleyman Shah tomb evacuation

Hundreds of Turkish troops in armoured vehicles have left northern Syria, after crossing the border to evacuate an historic Ottoman tomb.

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said troops had destroyed the tomb's complex, apparently to stop it being used by Islamic State (IS) militants.

The soldiers guarding it were also evacuated.

Selin Gerit reports.
