Afghanistan avalanche kill 150 people

Officials in Afghanistan say at least 150 people have died after a series of devastating avalanches.

Most of the victims were in Panjshir province, where at least 100 homes, two schools and a mosque are reported to have been destroyed.

Rescuers are being hampered by deep snow which has blocked roads, as the search for survivors enters a second day.

Jonathan Beale reports from Kabul.
