Iraqi officials say Ramadi captured by IS militants

Officials in Iraq have said the city of Ramadi has been captured by Islamic State militants.

Ramadi is the capital of Iraq's largest province, Anbar, and is just 70 miles (112km) west of Baghdad.

Government forces withdrew from the city after a heavy day of fighting.
