Fighters loyal to Iraq's government begin battle against IS

Forces loyal to the Iraqi government have begun a counter-offensive against Islamic State (IS) militants.

Militias launched an operation to recapture the city of Ramadi, which fell almost a week ago.

They are also battling IS militants around the northern town of Baiji, which is home to the country's largest oil refinery.

John Simpson reports from Baghdad.
