Afghan soldiers training for security roles

One of the key elements of the international community's plan for Afghanistan is the gradual transfer of responsibility for security to the Afghans.

The aim is for the Afghan National Army to eventually take control of all military operations, province by province.

The BBC's Security Correspondent Frank Gardner has been watching Afghan troops training at 'Camp Hero' just outside Kandahar.
