Pakistan flood victims plead for help

The United Nations food programme says 1.8 million people affected by the flooding in Pakistan will need aid.

Officials say there's a danger of an outbreak of cholera because of the lack of clean water and sanitation.

Fifteen hundred people have died in the flooding in Northwest Pakistan and the government has said some 27,000 people remain trapped and awaiting help.

Aleem Maqbool reports.
