UN launches appeal to help Pakistan flood victims

The United Nations is launching an appeal to help the millions of people hit by Pakistan's worst ever floods.

Large parts of the country have been cut off and there are fears of food shortages.

The UN says that with 14 million affected there, the scale of the disaster eclipses the 2004 Asian Tsunami, even though the number of dead is far lower.

Stephanie Holmes reports.
