Fresh plea to help flood-hit Pakistan

Aid agencies in Pakistan have warned that unless more international help is given to the victims of monsoon floods, many more people will die.

So far at least 1,600 people are known to have lost their lives.

The United Nations has made a fresh appeal to help 14 million people affected by the deluge.
