Fears for historic British hill station Shimla

There is concern in India that a historic stretch of Shimla, a former British hill station, could be unstable owing to unplanned building work.

Last month a large section of The Ridge, the town's famous promenade, collapsed under heavy monsoon rains.

Local officials say a makeshift market set up by Tibetan exiles could be to blame.
