Bombers target Afghan army bases

The Taliban have claimed responsibility for suicide attacks on army bases in two parts of Afghanistan.

There was an ambush on a bus carrying soldiers in the capital Kabul, while in the northern province of Kunduz bombers stormed an army recruitment centre.

At least 13 members of the Afghan security forces have been killed.

The BBC's Quentin Sommerville reports from Kabul.
