Pakistan PM defends country over failure to capture Osama Bin Laden

The Pakistani Prime Minister, Yousuf Raza Gilani, has responded to criticism that authorities in his country were unable to capture Osama Bin Laden, by saying it was the failure of international intelligence.

Pakistan has been criticised for failing to locate Bin Laden, who was living near the country's main military academy.

Mr Gilani, who is on a three day trip to France, said Pakistan was fully engaged in fighting terrorism but needed the support of the rest of the world.
