Karzai leads mourners at brother's funeral

The Afghan president has led thousands of mourners at the funeral of his half-brother at the family's home village.

Hamid Karzai wept openly during the ceremony and appealed to his countrymen to stop the violence.

Ahmad Wali Karzai was one of the most powerful figures in the southern Afghanistan.

He was shot dead by his own head of security.
