Should the US take the lead on Libya?

President Obama is facing a stark dilemma on whether to lead efforts to tackle Colonel Gaddafi in Libya.

Mr Obama is said to be keen "to project a new America after Iraq" but some fellow Democrats have expressed concern about what the world would witness if America did not take the lead.
