Life after serious injury in Iraq

Bernie Teich was a staff sergeant in the US Army and served twice in Iraq.

He was medically discharged after sustaining serious injuries that led to the amputation of his left leg, above the knee.

The BBC's Ian Pannell spoke to Bernie at his home near San Antonio, Texas, about the day he was injured and about his life after leaving the military.
