Afghanistan exit dominates Nato meeting

NATO leaders meeting in Chicago have been discussing relations with Afghanistan after the planned withdrawal of troops in 2014.

That withdrawal deadline is one of the keystones of US defence policy, but several Nato countries, including France, want to pull out earlier.

They will also consider how much money is needed to continue to support Afghanistan - and who will pay.
