Biden and Ryan clash over Syria

Vice-presidential candidates Paul Ryan and Joe Biden clashed over the best way to stop the conflict in Syria.

Republican Ryan accused the Obama administration of ineffective leadership by going through the UN and relying on Russia.

Vice-President Biden insisted the White House had put intensive pressure on the Syrian regime. "What would they do differently?" he asked.
