Meteorologist: 'I've never seen winds like that'

Storm Sandy has brought flooding, hurricane force winds and heavy rain to the east coast of the United States and Canada.

In New York, many people are without power and many roads are under water. The US states of New Jersey and Connecticut have also been severely affected.

Ken Elliot is a senior meteorologist from Weather Works.
