Boston marathon: 'There was blood in the streets'

Two suspected bombs have exploded at the Boston marathon, killing at least two people and injuring more than 20 others.

The blasts took place within seconds of each other, as hundreds of runners cheered on by a large crowd were ending the race.

Veteran Bruce Mendelson saw the explosions and gave first aid to the injured.
