Chicago sinkhole: Man hospitalised after cars swallowed

A driver has been hospitalised after a huge sinkhole opened up in the middle of the street, swallowing three cars.

The road in Chicago buckled following heavy overnight rain and flooding - which also led to more than 300 flights being cancelled and hundreds of schools closed.
