Marking the 50th anniversary of King's 'Dream'

The 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King's historic I Have a Dream speech will be marked on 28 August 2013.

At the time the United States were divided and there had been been violent race riots across the country.

To mark the anniversary, America's first black president, Barack Obama, will stand in the same place the civil rights icon stood - at the Lincoln Memorial - as he commemorates The March on Washington.
