Paris attacks: 'Copycat dangers' after France terror

In the wake of the Paris terror attacks, the former co-ordinator for counter-terrorism at the US Department of State has warned of the potential for more terror acts elsewhere.

"I don't think we're going to see a campaign, a real wave of attacks, but there is always the danger of copycat attacks," Daniel Benjamin told the BBC's Katty Kay.

On the question of today's cyber-hack on the US military's Twitter and YouTube accounts, Mr Benjamin characterised the event as more unpleasant than a sensitive data breach.

"It really doesn't look like a serious security threat of any kind," he said.
