The illegal immigrants 'afraid' of US visa amnesty

New legislation in the United States aims to allow some undocumented immigrants to stay in the US and apply for work permits.

About 11 million people are living in the country without permission.

But many of the so-called "illegals" have been reluctant to admit their status.

The BBC's Aleem Maqbool went to find out why.
