Libya FM: Islamic State threat 'urgent'

Seven days of mourning have been declared in Libya after one of the deadliest attacks since the toppling of former leader Muammar Gaddafi. At least 40 people were killed and dozens injured when multiple car bombs were detonated.

The blasts took place in the eastern city of Qubbah. A group affiliated with Islamic State has claimed responsibility.
