CCTV shows subway wheelchair rescue

A man in a motorised wheelchair has been rescued by commuters after he slid off a subway platform in Washington DC.

Two commuters jumped on to the tracks to assist the man - getting him to safety before any trains arrived.

The man in the wheelchair was taken to hospital with a bloodied face, but escaped serious injury.
