19 killed after severe weather hits US and Mexico

Severe weather has hit the south-west of the United States and northern Mexico causing widespread flooding.

At least nineteen people have been killed amidst the destruction. Most of the deaths were in the Mexican border city of Acoonya where a tornado struck.

In Texas, three people died and another twelve are reported missing after floodwaters swept away their holiday homes.
