Hillary Clinton kicks off 2016 campaign in New York

Hillary Clinton has given the first major speech of her 2016 presidential bid, starting what could be a 17-month campaign.

The former first lady and secretary of state addressed a rally at New York City's Roosevelt Island, speaking of revitalising the American economy and stopping secret money from big corporations distorting elections.
