'Take down the Confederate flag in South Carolina'

Protesters in Columbia, South Carolina, are demanding that the Confederate flag be removed from the state capitol.

The flag taken into battle by Southern armies in the Civil War is seen by some as an icon of slavery and others as a way of honouring ancestors killed in battle.

Aleem Maqbool spoke to people in South Carolina about one of the nation's most divisive symbols.
