Obama: Work 'not finished' on nuclear security

US President Barack Obama has told the Nuclear Security Summit that the world's work on securing nuclear material ''is by no means finished''.

''I'm the first to acknowledge the great deal of work that remains, from negotiating further reductions with Russian to dealing with North Korea's nuclear programme,'' he said.

More than 50 nations were represented at the summit in Washington.
