Mississippi passes controversial 'religious freedom' bill

The governor of Mississippi has approved a law allowing businesses to refuse to serve same-sex couples if it conflicts with the owners' religious beliefs.

Republican Governor Phil Bryant signed the law despite opposition from organisations which said it allowed discrimination.
