Obama reflects on role as 'consoler-in-chief' during Dallas speech

President Obama's journey to Dallas to pay tribute to five police officers killed by a sniper is the eleventh time he has consoled a city after a mass shooting.

During the memorial service he reflected on his past experiences as a commander-in-chief turned "consoler-in-chief".
