Using data science to make wine and cheese pairings

A University of Toronto lab has developed a map to help find the best wine and cheese pairings using data visualisation software.

Professor Gary Bader's team was one of several that helped develop the software for mapping connections between genes, but his wife realised the software could be put to a more delicious use.
