Poking fun at 'overweight' obit with #MyOzObituary

Would you like to remembered for being fat and plain? There's probably a lot more to your life, besides your looks, right?

That's exactly how Twitter users feel as people flock to the platform to share their 'warts n all' eulogies with the hashtag #MyOzObituary.

It's a tongue in cheek reaction to an obituary of the acclaimed author Colleen McCullough in The Australian newspaper.

It described her as "plain of feature, and certainly overweight, nevertheless a woman of wit and warmth." She wrote 25 novels and was a neuroscientist before becoming a successful writer.
