Writer and broadcast Stephen Fry is to appear in a one-man show in London scripted by submissions from his Twitter followers.
Fry told The Independent no topic would be "off limits" and that he would ask his followers to suggest subjects for him to talk about.
The event follows on from four shows he performed in Sydney and Melbourne last month using the same idea.
Stephen Fry Live will take place on 20 September at the Royal Albert Hall.
Writing on his blog, Fry said: "I have MC-ed, hosted, guested and otherwise infested that noble venue many times over the last quarter century, but never have I done a whole evening on my own. I am excited."
Fry added if the show was a success, he could tour with it.
"If it goes well and people seem to enjoy it then I can think of nothing I would enjoy more than travelling around for a month or so, taking in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and all parts of England," he said.
