Gary Coleman estate case goes to trial
A legal bid by the ex-wife of the late TV star Gary Coleman to take control of his estate has gone to trial in Utah.
Shannon Price testified on Monday that although the two divorced in 2008, they presented themselves to the public as married until his death in May 2010.
Another woman, ex-girlfriend Anna Gray, claims he named her as a beneficiary and executor of his estate in 2005.
Coleman was known to millions for playing Arnold Jackson in US sitcom Diff'rent Strokes from 1978 to 1986.
An autopsy found the star died of natural causes at the age of 42 after an accidental fall at his home.
Price's lawyer said Coleman "was not a zillionaire" and that the case was more about future rights to his name and brand than his assets.
Gray is representing herself at the trial, which began on Monday at a district court in Provo, Utah.
