Your pictures: Waste

Each week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week the theme is waste, and we start with a photograph by Sampat Naik of a chameleon foraging in a bin for food.

Robert Bainbridge: "Taken in St Ives in Cornwall but I have seen these as far away as Philadelphia - when you consider the price of modern trainers it seems strange to see them left hanging out of reach of everyone."

Luke Freeman: "I stumbled across this in Devon earlier this summer and couldn't resist taking a snap."
