Your pictures: Craft

Each week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week the theme is craft, and we start with a photograph by Kshitija Pande of artists creating designs with coloured powder on the streets of Pune, India, during the annual Ganesha Festival.
Jorge Sanz Garcia: "With the same affection with which he was making the basket, he explained to me that wickerwork has been his profession for more than 40 years."
Grace Smith: "This is Mr Afrika at work at the Harare International Festival of the Arts, Zimbabwe. Mr Afrika recycles bottle tops into customised badges and fridge magnets. He also paints buttons and builds maps of Africa to sell; bottle tops are attached displaying the flags of each country."
Bipin Bhusal: "My friend in front of an amazing and huge man-made flower in Turku, Finland."
Tony McCarthy: "A mehndi artist in a Delhi street market. The thick henna paste that is being applied is later washed off, leaving a stain on the skin of intricate design."
Steph Jezewski: "One of the tiny origami cranes I make when bored, and challenge myself to make the smallest one I can."

Celia Hilgenberg: "A picture from my summer trip to Uganda with the charity Teams4U, running crafts and activities in rural village schools. These children are all making pom-pom spiders!"
Frances Daunt: "A craft day at home produced this felted kingfisher."
And finally a picture taken at Peter and Paul Cathedral in St Petersburg by Andreas Hollbacher, who says: "There's something special about this artisan at work!"
