Your pictures: Spring

Each week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week the theme is spring and we begin with a photo by Colin Nicholls.
Will Clarkson: "A very frustrating day trying to photograph boxing brown hares. They had literally no interest in performing for my camera! This is the best I got, with one hare shadow boxing at the other. Next time..."
Heather Watkins: "Tulips always make me think of spring and I couldn't resist photographing the inside of this bright red one while out on a walk in the spring sunshine at RHS Wisley in Surrey."
Yvonne Gordon-Walker: "We found these snake's head fritillaries in a copse near the office when on a walk at lunchtime."
Robert Hinchley: "A young lamb standing unsure, yet boldly quizzical as I was taking photos of it from the side of the field."
Oliver Levett: "Taken on a spring evening in Kent."
Mia Flores-Borquez: "These are Haydee's little ducklings."
Lucy Spiers: "I took this photograph in Surrey a couple of weeks ago and wanted to make a more abstract image of blossom so chose an extreme close-up view."
Vivien Burdon: "This is a picture of the little spring chickens that accompanied an Easter gift to my sister in America. Her son set them up on the kitchen table in Michigan for a photo opp. The picture gets weirder the more you look at them."
Rhys Fullerton: "Spring is the time when the Easter bunnies get washed in preparation for the Easter egg hunt."
