Your pictures: Shop windows
Each week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week the theme is "shop-fronts" and we begin with an image taken by Stephen Arrandale.
Connie Jackson Brown: "Taken on a sunny Saturday lunchtime while discovering Saint-Germain-en-Laye, a charming Parisian suburb. I loved this traditional shop-front with its distinctive tall windows, stacks of artisan cheeses and bottle-lined shelves on both sides. So wonderfully French."
Attilio Polo: "An unusual shop window I came across in the city of Puebla, in Mexico."
Alex Doseff: " I saw this old gas station by the side of the road while driving from North Carolina to Virginia. The whole building was leaning noticeably; and, although it looked as if somebody was trying to keep it from disintegrating completely, the foundation of the building was slowly sinking into the ground."
W James: "The silhouetted tree standing guard in front of the Wine Exchange in Hyde Park, Tampa, as the sun sets."
Alan Brown focused on legs in a shop near Kensington High Street, London.
Martin Rosen: "This is a picture of the Halloween window of the shop that I work in called The Magazine."
Stephen Boyd: "This was taken in Covent Garden during the Olympics."
Anna Mochnacka: "A shop window of a local bakery in Spain, with tasty looking bread men on display. The first bite is with the eye, as they say."
And finally a photo by Alicia Badillo. Next week the theme is "wires", and the deadline for your entries is 20 November. If you would like to enter, send your pictures to yourpics@bbc.co.uk. Further details and terms can be found by following the link below this gallery.
