Your pictures: Baking
Each week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week the theme is baking and we begin with an image sent in by Louise Dijkstra.
Paolo Nigris: "Baking on the streets of New Delhi."
Tim Brook: "My wife, who recently left a career in law to become a cake-maker, adds the finishing touches to the bottom tier of a wedding cake for our friends. The cake has a mixture of Indian and English designs to reflect the heritage of the bride and groom."
Sylwia Tantardini: "Our friend Alessandro works day and night to deliver before 6am. He's a force of nature."
Kayo Shimizu: "One winter morning at a warm flat in Shepherd's Bush, London, I made lemon drizzle loaf cake for my loved one."
Remi Skatulski: "Preparing a special order on Valentine's Day in a small southern city in Thailand."
Kathy Gehring: "I made some little breads with onions for my daughter's birthday last year. I posted this picture on her Facebook page as she was driving home from university."
Cormac Flynn: "Some home-baked bread about to be devoured."
Sara Scheiner: "A bakery delivery service near Galle in Sri Lanka. A little classical tune was played and I kept thinking someone was rehearsing on a recorder. "
Eleanor Regin: "Chocolate Castle 16th Birthday cake, with icing frog prince, Rapunzel's hair flowing from the tower, a chocolate finger drawbridge and marshmallow path - this is how fairytale's come true."
And finally, Rowena Caine has played around with a photo of a ginger bread house. The next theme is "distorted" and the deadline for your entries is 26 February. If you would like to enter, send your pictures to yourpics@bbc.co.uk. Further details and terms can be found by following the link below this gallery.
