Your pictures: Dance

Each week, we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week it is "dance", and we begin with the photograph by Alex Moldovan, of model Erica Mulkern.

Ansa Gohar: "This is a photo of dancer Jessie Lee (who attends Central School of Ballet in London) in Brick Lane, London. As soon as we saw the angel-wings graffiti in the Brick Lane area, we knew what we wanted to do. It took quite a few attempts, but eventually we managed to get the shot we wanted, portraying her as the angel of dance."

Sarah Young: "My lovely cousins at my gran's 80th. She had a 50s themed tea party, which went on a bit longer than planed and resulted in chilly evening dancing in the garden."

Megan Caplan: "A man dances in front of a light wall during intermission for Cirque Du Soleil's Quidam, at the Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Sue Norton: "A swirl of flamenco dancers: broaches on a board outside a tourist shop in Malaga, Spain."

Noah Seelam: "Mohiniattam is a classical dance form of Kerala. It is a beautiful feminine traditional dance form with surging flow of body movements. It is a solo female dance, where musical melody and the rhythmical swaying of the dancer from side to side and the smooth and unbroken flow of the body movement is the striking feature. The Mohiniattam dance focuses mainly on feminine moods and emotions."

Jeff White: "It doesn't matter where or when, my daughter will dance. A classically trained ballerina, still only six years old, she feels the beat in everything. I love this blurred image in a world of sharp edges."
