The name Aretha was spray-painted next to a sign at the Franklin Avenue subway station in the Brooklyn borough of New York, in memory of the singer Aretha Franklin. The "Queen of Soul" known for hits like Respect, Think and (You Make Me Feel Like a) Natural Woman, died on Thursday in Detroit at the age of 76.
