    Three Wasps players have been included in Eddie Jones' 33-man England training squad.

    Nathan Hughes and club captain Joe Launchbury are joined by British and Irish Lion Elliot Daly.

    James Haskell - who toured New Zealand with the Lions - has been left out of the training camp.

    Head coach Eddie Jones will name his squad for the autumn internationals on 26 October.

  7. Culture and tourism gongs handed out

    The organiser of Coventry's Godiva Festival and the city's Shop Front Theate were among the recipients of the annual Coventry and Warwickshire Tourism and Culture Awards last night.

    The main awards were handed out to 14 organisations, with a clutch of special awards going to those deemed to have made a key contribution to the region - among them Aubrey Allen butchers, The Episode Hotel and Ricoh Arena.

    Lee House was also a recipient and described as a "legend" for her work as director of Godiva Festival.

  8. Two-car crash leaves man in hospital

    A man was injured in a crash involving two cars in Cheylesmore yesterday.

    It happened at about 16:20 on Black Prince Road at the junction of Arundel Road.

    A 72-year-old man was taken to hospital where his condition, police said, was described as stable.

    The driver of the other vehicle stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their investigations.

  10. RSC cossie sale offers chance of twelfth nightie

    Form an orderly queue.

    Visitors to the costume sale at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday are being warned they may need to queue for up to two hours at the event's busiest periods.

    Costumes from shows over the past 20 years are on offer, including pieces from the 2008 production of Hamlet in which David Tennant starred.
